When ‘tis the season to be jolly ’tis also the the season for some creative festivity. What more to show the festivity and joy of the season than a good old scavenger hunt? A scavenger hunt during Christmas is a fun way to bond and enjoy each other’s company.
Kids and teens can join in. They can work alone, by pairs, by threes, even by groups! Encourage participation with Christmas related prizes! Good prizes that are seasonal and effective can consist of candies, confectionaries, candy canes, nuggets, eggnogs, and maybe even some neat coins. For older participants, if prizes are to be included gift cards would do well. The hunt can be held indoors (especially if it’s snowing outside).
Now, let’s move on to the hunt itself. After making sure that everything and everyone is ready then give everyone their list. We’ve included two sample lists that are Christmas focused below. The first list is a collection of items players could asked to hunt, and the second list is a collection of activities the players could be asked to perform. Use your own discretion to figure out which of these items you want to include in your personal hunts.
